Super Pacific X1 Camper interior build.

Tell us about how you customized your camper.

I set up the X1 to be able to do weekend trips with my wife and dog in Alaska while still maintaining some functionality of the truck. I built out a storage platform out of wood with two drawers and a middle channel for sitting.

THE BUILD

  • Custom built wooden storage
  • Dometic dual zone fridge
  • 100AH battery connected to a RedArc DC-DC charger and 2 x 100W solar panels on the roof of the Super Pacific.
  • An inverter and numerous 12V plugins.
  • Starlink permanently connected and routed wiring into the cab to an easy cigarette plugin
  • Matt Gecko LEDs
  • Cargo netting for bedding storage
  • Diesel heater
  • The exterior of the Super Pacific has Maxtrax, a DMOS shovel, Rotoax gas can, awning, and a wind fairing.

What do you love most about your setup?

I love the freedom to just drive anywhere at any hour and have a place to stay. No hotels to get to for a specific night, allowing my wife and I to just drive and see what we want and stay a little longer if we want. Sleeping at the farthest northern part of Alaska thanks to the customer service shipping it for installation.

Favorite adventure in your X1?

40 day trip from Fairbanks, Alaska to Rochester, New York and then down through the Smoky Mountains to South Dakota.

X1 Camper build out with mountain bike rack.

"Go out…get one…get out."
