A Super Pacific State of mind
Here's to turning right instead of left, following that windy dirt road that just might lead to something magical on the other end.
Here's to the hopeless daydreamers, the dust covered wander-lusters, the mad scientist inventors, and the spontaneous thrill seekers of the world.
These are our people. Welcome to the Super Pacific state of mind.
"My camper is a Super Pacific X1. It’s equal parts functional adventure camper and engineering feat. After years of research, I landed on the lightweight wedge camper as the solution for my needs. There are a handful of brands making different variations of wedge campers these days, some good, some bad, some different. Ultimately, this one ended up fitting my needs the most."

"Rugged outdoor adventures and aerospace technology aren’t two things that you naturally associate together. But Super Pacific's recently-launched Switchback X1 camper brings aerospace materials and manufacturing processes to the overlanding scene. And it’s neat as hell."

"It’s easy to look at the X1 and notice its sculpted lines that are at home on both current futuristic truck models like the ’24 Tundra and older somewhat rounded body styles like my ’19 F-150. But underneath its attractive appearance are structural elements and details that make it a DIYer’s playground."

"If you’re looking for a lightweight truck camper with finessed design, this is your match. The tent is super easy to set up and take down, even with the insulation kit and mattress inside."

Let customers speak for us
from 183 reviewsThe bracket is exactly what I needed. It gives a bit of a lift so that the awning clears the opened hatch with greater ease. It also pushes the awning just enough away from the topper framing. It’s well fabricated light, compact, efficient, with proper hole placement. I would note that the 2-sided long t-nuts seen on the SP’s website did not come with mine, rather single t-nuts were included. Outdated image for the product?
Took the X1 down to Warm Springs over the weekend; for a family fishing trip. We were not expecting it to rain; but the X1 performed flawlessly. We have been using the upper tent area for the kids to sleep, while we have been sleeping “downstairs” on a truck bed conforming mattress. Can’t be happier, we are looking forward to many more trips like this in the future
At 6 feet tall, the Crash Pad is perfect for me. It extends the bed enough for my pillow to rest upon. This gives additional space in the foot area of the tent. No more smashed toes or cramped sleeping-bag foot pockets. The pad also tucks nicely out of the way when the tent is closed. Excellent accessory for the X1.
After looking at several different campers for my tundra i decided to get with super pacific! The quality of these campers are insane. You won’t regret this purchase!
We picked up our X1 almost a month ago and have done a couple quick overnighters near home. So far we love it! Having the extra space when set up at camp to store stuff or dwell in the truck bed below and sleep up high has been great. I feel like a kid again sleeping in a tree house fort with great views from up high ... and mentally I feel more comfortable up high off the ground in bear / mountain lion country. We look forward to making some custom accessories for it and using it for MANY years to come. We aren't afraid of using this as I'm sure it will stand the test of time and use with how well it's made!
My X1 has been great so far! After my install I headed down the Oregon coast and then into the Sierra’s Lassen National forest. I’ve encountered rain, wind, heat and cold and the X1 has performed admirably. Multiple people have asked about it and are impressed by the build quality. From here I have a month’s camping ahead of me as I wind my way home to Tampa, FL. I’m very pleased with my purchase!
Great bag for storing 1lb propane bottles, water hoses, small cooking pans, and just stuff!!!!! I would suggest getting the 65lb struts for the doors, $25 for each one. If you start putting a lot of stuff in your bags. Have fun out there!!!!!
The folks at Super Pacific created such a well thought out product. I love how I can still use my truck as a truck and its so modular that I can have variations of my camping setup depending on seasons.
I am enjoying the convince of pulling off and creating a home right away.
I have a 180 awining which has added bonus space and shade which is great for the hot temps. Add a bit of outdoor space for cooking and hanging out. I am happy with this camper. Thank you all.
These are fantastic. We have two kids and now each has their trip space. Quality was above what I expected, the attention to detail stands out.
In typical SP style, it's very well thought out and very functional. Killer addition to your X1
What is not to like about SP. The whole experience from the drive up to Oregon (FEB 2023) and meeting the stellar crew that did the install. Everyone made us feel like family. Thank you Sasha for the awesome shop tour and fulfilling the customers needs. What an experience in itself.
Then the X1, all I can say is CRAFTSMANSHIP at its finest! I don't regret anything about this purchase. Lots of memories, fun and exciting trips. This camper still looks as good as when I bought it in 2023 and I live in the hot desert! Well done Super Pacific!
Happy with my new Super Pacific.
Everyone was amazing from beginning of purchase to the install.
Thank you to all at Super Pacific Usa

I would give them more than 5 stars if I can. The build, quality, customer service is above excellence. From inquiry, building, installation day, and after sales experience is professional and warm. I drove from Los Angeles to Portland to meet them and see the facility and the long drive was worth it. Jordan and Sacha guided me and been patient with all my question. In camp, I met several Super Pacific owners and it feels good to belong to a great community. Super Pacific brings more joy and adventure to my truck. And it looks so cool! 😎
Absolutely love this. Exclusively a tent camper for the past 14 years and have intentionally stayed away from trailers. This was a great choice!
I’m 6’2” and added the crash pad, sleeping is very comfortable.
