- Campers weighing in over 400 pounds were Dirtbox Overland, Alu-Cab, and Hardsider.

For the planners out there, we identified where all major manufacturers are located so you can map out a potential road trip.

- Alu-Cab has a nationwide network of dealers making fulfillment somewhat easier.
- A few manufacturers offer direct shipping, but you would need to install the camper yourself.
- Some manufacturers have distribution partners.
- But the most common scenario is to drive your truck to the company HQ for a professional installation. Many owners make a trip out of it and enjoy camping in their new rig on their way home.
What are owners saying?

While there's no substitute for seeing a camper in person, what owners are saying is probably the next best indication of satisfaction and quality. Positive Google reviews say a lot, but a high volume of positive reviews says even more.

- Super Pacific, Lone Peak Overland, and Dirtbox Overland had the highest ratings with 5.0s respectively.
- Super Pacific had the most reviews out of all manufacturers at 170, with Go Fast Campers coming in next with 77.
- Hardsider, Oru Designs, and Pack Out Campers did not have any Google Reviews available.

- Lead times are variable across most manufacturers, so be sure to check their website when you're ready to out a deposit down. The times that we have listed may have shifted, and that's normal, based on production volume.
