How’d you get started in the outdoors?

I started riding street bikes about 19 years ago, attracted to the freedom and thrill they seemed to offer. When I began attending Babes Ride Out events I met a lot of women with similar interest in exploring the world on 2 wheels and feeling the wind in our hair. When Babes in the Dirt was created my new friends convinced me to try riding a dirt bike for the first time, and I was immediately hooked. I like overcoming the physical challenges that come with riding Dirt bikes and love that they can take me to places that no other vehicle is able to go. I feel like they introduced me to a new connection with the outdoors, and most of the rides I go on come with a group of friends and camping. We would sit around the fire and talk about our rose and thorns or the ride that day, still sweaty and dusty with huge grins on our faces.

Does your camping rig have a nickname?

I had a 1st Gen Taco that I used to call Carlos, so I thought my 2nd gen should be Carlo's bigger more sophisticated brother, Juan, but now that I have the camper maybe he needs a new name... suggestions?

Top 3 favorite things about your current setup?

  1. I LOVE opening the side doors and sitting in the truck bed on the bed rug, eating a breakfast burrito, and watching the waves with my dog.
  2. With a modular set up I can use my truck bed for truck stuff, then pop in a few cases and hit the road for a long weekend of camping.
  3. I like that I can access the truck bed when the tent bed is out, so in the middle of the night or early in the morning I can climb down while my boyfriend is still sleeping.

Favorite thing about your X1 Camper?

My favorite thing is being able to take off anytime and find a place to camp with a beautiful view to look at from the panoramic view either up in the tent or down below with all of the side panels open. My dog loves the cozy den feel when she's curled up below at night

Top 3 Recommended / Favorite Super Pacific Accessories?

  1. Gearloft Organizer for easy access to things while hanging "upstairs."
  2. Offset Molle Panel for strapping things to both sides.
  3. Cargo Pack to keep small essentials handy. The top and bottom zippers are genius for getting to things when the panel is closed or open.

What's a personal goal you're working towards right now?

Trying to be more financially savvy, but I keep spending all my money on things for my camper, LOL.

When you die, what do you want to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered as someone who really lived life to the fullest and pushed to explore as many new things and places as possible. I want to be remembered as someone who took time to connect with the people and places I travel to.

Favorite camping trip?

I have to say my favorite camp trip was on my way back from picking up my X1! Just me and my dog moving to a new place each day in Oregon, Washington, and NorCal, not knowing exactly where we would end up each night, just a vague idea of location. I never knew how much I liked camping solo with my dog until I went on that adventure.
