Since launching Super Pacific in 2020, every X1 Camper has been built in our flagship Portland, Oregon factory. Laser-cut and hand-riveted, one camper at a time, designed to outlast the truck you put it on.
If you live out West, this has worked out great. An epic roadtrip to the Pacific Northwest and a welcoming customer service team to help get you kitted out. But if the place you call home is further east, getting an X1 has typically meant a scheduling a multi-day trek out to Oregon or dealing with an eye watering shipping bill.

We're excited to announce a new partnership with the team from Hiker Trailers in Columbus, Indiana, bringing X1 Camper manufacturing, sales, installation, and service east of the Rockies. That means two factory-direct manufacturing and pickup locations: our original home in Portland, Oregon, and a new Midwest hub in Columbus, Indiana.

We've spent months working tightly with the Hiker manufacturing team, dialing in the processes and details that make an X1 an X1. The goal is simple: whether your camper is built in Portland or Columbus, it will meet the same exacting standards.
And with the addition of our Indiana manufacturing hub, the X1 continues to be proudly built in the USA.
Our Portland headquarters isn't going anywhere. We'll continue serving our customers out West, just as we always have. This isn't a different X1 or a separate product line. It's the same bombproof camper, now built and supported in two locations.
This Is Just the Beginning.
In the months and years to come, we will continue expanding the network of installation locations supported by Hiker's Super Pacific manufacturing hub to reduce lead times and shipping costs across the Midwest and Eastern US.

Super Pacific truck campers are now built in Columbus, Indiana through a manufacturing partnership with Hiker Trailers. Customers east of the Rockies can order and pick up a camper without crossing the country.

Is a camper built in Columbus different from one built in Portland?
No. Design, materials and build quality are identical and certified by Super Pacific.
Which truck models will be available?
All of the same fitments are available form either location. Popular models include Toyota Tacoma, Ford F-Series, Rivian R1T, Toyota Tundra, and many more.
Can I still order a camper for pickup in Portland?
Yes, the Super Pacific headquarters in Portland, Oregon won't be changing. Select Portland as your install location at checkout for factory-direct pickup.
How do I get an order started?

Does it cost more to buy an Indiana-built camper?
Pricing is the same across both locations. Local sales tax may vary depending on the location you're picking up.
Is the Warranty the same?
Yes, the same standard Super Pacific warranty covers your X1 Camper. 5 years on the aluminum canopy, 3 years on the tent. Read more here.
