And when you're ready to wander from camp or fuel up? Just pull the quick-release handle and take your tank with you. It's locked, loaded, and ready to go.

I've purchased this propane tank and it does everything that it says. It attaches securely. The popane tank holds well. The quick disconnect is easy to use. However, this will also scratch the heck out of everything. The clamps don't have a sleeve so your tank will quickly develop scratches. The quick disconnect is metal on metal so the mount is quickly scratched and the process of taking it on and off will scratch your camper shell.
The frustration is that these issues are easily resolved by some sleeves around the clamps and some plastic bumpers over the sharp edges on the quick disconnect mechanism. I designed and 3D printed a solution for my setup to stop this from happening, but I've already scratched my rig pretty badly after only a few uses and I worry about rust over the long term. At this price point I expect this kind of issue to not be there.
Got my Quickdraw Mount installed last week to free up some space inside the camper and it is just as solid and high quality as anything else Super Pacific brings to market.
I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces on the trail yet, but I have no doubt that it will exceed my expectations.
7,000 miles trip. The mount is solid and rattle free, but the metal hose clamp style bands provided to hold the tank on the mount were too big by 1/2 inch. Even with rubber padding under and behind the tank, and the straps cinched tight, the tank was a tad loose and led to paint on the tank being scrapped. I replaced the metal bands with Nite Ize CamJam tie down straps. Works great. Looks better. Very snug.
Installation of the Quick Draw propane mount was super easy! It used existing holes and took only a few minutes. I don't like the thought of carrying propane inside my truck with the inverter and other appliances that could spark and ignite propane in the event of a leak. This propane mount saves room inside my truck and provides a safe place to carry propane outside the truck. I highly recommend this product.
The quick release is nice and solid. Fits 10lbs alumium tank as well.
