Light the way with the X1 Lighting Kit. Using Kingpin's sleek, durable light bars, this kit is designed to illuminate the interior of the lower canopy and upper tent space of your camper.
The custom, 2-zone switch panel gives you full control to set the mood, with dimmable controls for both the upper and lower zones, mounting cleanly in the camper's vertical corner pillar. Wiring stays concealed in the X1's wire chases, for a clean look, with no lose wiring.
Each light bar includes 2 color modes: Standard white for maximum brightness & a red color option that helps you keep your night vision and is less attractive to insects. Both color modes are fully dimmable.

I’ll start with the pros before the cons. The quality of the lights, wiring harness and dimmer switch are 5 star. Great quality, very bright (glad the dim) and well designed. My gripe is with the DIY install. The online instructions are easy to follow however, the listed tools required are if the X1 is off the truck. When the X1 is on the truck there is not enough space to drill the holes without a right angle attachment and specialty stubby drill bits. My other gripe was the wire harness for the tent light was about 2 feet too short to reach the recommend dimmer location. Also the kit did not include wires to connect dimmer to power source. Thankfully I had wire on hand from another project. I understand the light kit was recently released but I would recommend SP pre drilling the holes and capping them to future proof the X1. Overall because I was able to troubleshoot with minimal issues, I’ve very satisfied and would recommend them.
I am loving these lights. They are even brighter than I was expecting when on full brightness. Being able to dim them to the perfect level at night is also great. I’m a huge fan of the red light mode as well. The red light is perfect when it’s pitch dark outside and you don’t want to ruin your night vision.
